Sweet nothings

Its been 2 weeks since i got my new posting. The workload is piling up on me. Covered a total of 4 events, 3 articles and loads of photos but everythings okie just that now that i have 24 hours outside, as compared to being stuck in camp, i would really like to hang out with my friends more often or at the very least have my own room/space at home. Starting to talk more to the people in my office. Mdm winnie seems to be the more stern one so if i can get by her, everyone else should be no problem.

These "free" time also got me to do more thinking than usual. Been thinking about how childish i was in my past. How inconsiderate and selfish i can be. Cant really believe that im actually 21 years old but i still want to play. Maybe its time for me to settle down.

Been hanging out with my grandparents a lot since after my granddad was hospitalized. Trying to learn my Teochew properly and all the recipes from my grandma which noone else knows. For example, how to do the traditional sauces and cakes and stuff. Apparently, my grandma's family is quite big in China and they produces stuff like soya sauce, sugar and stuff. My granddad picked up a bit of sugar differentiating skill which noone in thr family knows anymore. Really want to pick up and preserve thses skills since none of my cousins seems to be interested.

Caught Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Its a very nice show. Not advisable for kids although it is adapted from a children's book. Tim burton's rendition added a lot of dark humour to it. Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka is also a bit more to the creepy side. There's a lot of references to other movies and genre in the movie. A must watch for all tim burton fans and sadistic bustards.

I need something to fill up the emptiness in me.

Will you all be there when my time is up?

Its not us that's changing but time that's flowing.

Two sides of the same coin will never meet.
