Days Of My Life

Yesterday was totally like a day time drama. Let's go back to the night before first, those who happen to be online at 3am would see me signing off and going to bed. (i.e Ning and Thom [yes his name has a "h" in it]) After around 75 winks, I heard someone calling me at my door. Shocked, i jump out of bed and realize it was my grandpa. I followed him to his room and saw my grandma sitting up. She was not feeling well and Grandpa wanted me to apply medical oil on her back. After dunno how long it wasn't getting better (she's feeling nauseous and giddy). Seeing that it's not better, decided to call a cab and send her to A&E. I had to wake my sis up to look after my grandpa when I send my grandma over.

On the way, tried to call my aunt but can't get her. Reaching A&E at around 7, it was not crowded at all but it cost $80 to see the doctor! well, sent her in and waited outside while the batt of my handphone keep dropping at an alarming rate. Had to get my sister to call my uncle and aunts but to no avail.

At around 8 plus, Doctor came put to question me abit. As I was out watching movie the night before, they were asleep when I was back. I tried to answer as best as I can. The doctor was using a tone like "why you bring her here?" but they keep her under observation still. A while later was allowed to see her in observation ward (around 8.30), the nurse said to keep her for 2 hours for observation. So i went out to sit around for a while.

While waiting, the Doctor walked by. I saw and did the "hi bye" smile then he stop and talk to me. Not bad considering he's going off shift. He said nothing much but might be some "unknown not-feeling-good thing with old people". I was like "OK"

So around 2 hours later (1030), I went in and nurse said that blood pressure (bp) was high so they had to keep her for another 2 hours but later did i realise it was HIGH (around 200). So i went for a quick breakfast. Did i mention i was in berms and tee i slept in the night before, hair undone and sleep-grit still in my eyes, carrying my grandma's handbag, walking around General Hospital.

Went back and waited around again. At around 1230, wanted to buy some food for grandma when doctor came. Said her bp dropped slightly but had to be warded to check the sourse of giddiness as she's still feeling it. So I went to do the admission papers thingy thing thing and waited for forever to get a bed. At the mean time, i think they wanted the patients to experience a white christmas they turn up the airconditioning so that it felt like winter. My grandma was feeling really cold so i had to run to 7-11 to buy socks for her. Then at around 3, some people upstairs decide that the bed is in tip-top condition to be slept on and let us have the bed.

We just got settled in when 2 doctors (female) came in and start questioning my grandma. It was funny how they speak to my grandma then start conversing with each other. It was just a funny sight beyond words, well to me at least. Then half-way through the consultation, my auntie came and FINALLY I'm not alone. So they settled everything and my brother came and i finally had a chance to go home to wash up and charge (both my handphone and me).

There's more to this but I'm still very tired still. Forced to grow up for the week. Damn.

Just A Boy

I'm but just a boy, a boy in denial, not wanting to grow up. But it seems almost impossible. Out of a sudden, i find myself being the technical support (when I'm almost a hardware idiot), being the mediater, being the messenger, being the counsellor, being the guardian, being the doctor, being the translater, being the clerk, being the alarm clock, being the planner, being the organiser, being the artist, being the artisan, being the carpenter, being the banker, being the broker, being the runner boy, being the stress reliever, being the punching bag, being many things of which many i have no idea of. When did this roles fall onto me? Why me? Have it occurred to people that it is sometimes very hard and tiring to be so many things at once?

I'm but just a boy, barely a man, in denial, not wanting to grow up. Pass me the fairy dust and let me soar again. Let me go back to Neverneverland.

Random Ranting

Phantom Menace
I sure hope I wouldn't miss Phantom of the Opera next year. One of my favourtie musicals. Although i have never ever seen any show before (the movie doesn't count), I could tell you almost all the special effects used, music played, lyrics sang and details to look out for. AHH!!! Funny how it came to Singapore previously twice and I didn't watch it before. Young Ignorant fool i was. This time it's happening around my birthday. It makes me doublely excited. But I keep having this awful feeling I'm going to miss it again. I haven't even gotten my tickets yet and rumour has it that it is already selling out. Urgh... the awful feeling is killing me. SOMEONE HELP ME!!

Peter Pan
I believe i have mentioned how much i adores Peter Pan, the flying boy who doesn't want to grow up. I was arranging my books when i realize i don't have a copy of my favourite book!! I went to borders and Kino to look for a decent copy but found like the kiddish versions instead. Ami has this nice copy of Alice in Wonderland that is bound in velvet cover. I hope i can find a similar version of it. How funny it seems that i know the story yet have never read the book before. The power of television and movies.

Devil Fruit
Was chatting with Alec last night when dunno why we suddenly talked of devil fruits (refer to One Piece comics). We started with Jon (my evil twin) and his "Stone" devil fruit. Then alec was so "shapeshifter" devil fruit, always good in mimicing people. Then we tried to figure out my devil fruit. Alec said i am chopper, the "reindeer" devil fruit first. He turns into different combination of human and reindeer. I didn't want it at first till alec showed me this pic. Then i resigned to it. I'm, according to Alec, Knife. (looks cool as a helloween mask though)

Some Funny Pic

Logo Design
Some Logo designs i did for a recent competition. Doubt will win anything but still holding on to the slightest hope because the prize is $1K. Fingers and toes crossed.

Impromptu

Gave ZoukOut another miss this year. Went back to PAD for an event and Auntie Queenie and Lennard ain't going so well... don't think any other poeple will pay 40++ bucks to just dance. But it got me thinking. What if I did something similar. An impromptu party. Here's the plan. I call people I know to go down to say Sentosa some day. What happens is I ask them to ask their friends along. Kind of like different groups of friends meeting coincidentally at the same place. So what happens is, each group will bring like their own stuff - music, food, games, fun. The difference is all the groups can just go over and join other groups. From what I can remember, don't think there will be any legal problems. Will there?

Think of what it can do, networking, fun, maybe even some sparks of love. This is sort of my idea where all my friends can mingle together and chill out. Well, i guess that will be another idea in my list of prejects to do before i die.

Anyone intrigued by this idea please talk to me. The hottest unofficial party of th year, Impromptu. Maybe can turn it into some big cool event, funded by fun loving rich basturds. Who knows. Better copyright it first! ©

Got to Update!

I thought i should write something before this blog dies off like all other blogs by boring people like me.

Now is the holidays but the extra free time is KILLING ME! Exactly like what my friend said after the last paper, "Aaa.. 回去不董要做什么leh!" After being busy throughout the semester, the sudden break made me totally lost. Too much time, nothing to do. Well actuallly there are but i'm just too lazy to do so. Like starting my exercise/swimming plans, do some drawing/photography, . I did clean up my room and do up a couple of designs for a competition. Now my room (or rather my uncle's room) is much spacious. I'm planning to make it my own but dunno is i should take down his decos. He has this buddhist religious painting thingy on the wall which i want to cover with softboard to make into a HUGE nothing board. Well, i think i should source out the material and check out the price first. I might end up with a small pathetic nothing board.

Talking about room revamp, I hope to pack it up reasonably so that got place to hang out next time. Any one who wants to sponsor things please refer to the following list.

1. Playstation 2
2. Flatscreen TV
3. Playstation 3
4. Beanbags
5. Cushions
6. Bookshelves
7. Laptops
8. Carpet
9. Maids

Hahahah.... I LOVE MY OWN ROOM...
