5 Days Around Christmas

Christmas Eve.1 Day Before Christmas.

Spent the whole afternoon with Andy in Film lab wrapping up the job which only ended early next morning (for Andy at least). I rushed down to town to catch Alvin and the Chipmunks with Alec and Ning. Not a bad movie for its cuteness and nice remixes but the storyline is SOOOOO boring. Went for last minute (to its most literal sense) Christmas shopping around Cineleisure and finally ending up at this new restaurant thingy for a Christmas dinner/supper. Chirstmas Day. The Day.

Had dinner with my sec school buds at Park Royal Hotel. The first thing Shirley did when I saw her was to ask me to carry her bag of presents. Wait, she didn't ask. She passed me her bag of presents. -.- Boon is as auntie as usual. Meixia is now Mrs Lee (well, if ROM is soon) Shirin is auntie also with her gold Casio watch. Went over to Bugis to seek out post-dinner activity and ended up at TCC. Well, we are suppose to go Coffee Club for Ice Lychee. Boon and Xia was sure its at bugis and that place sells it. Boon apparently has been there a couple of times. NOT! TCC is different from Coffee Club. As usual, always had awful drinks at TCC. Condemned.

Boxing Day.1 Day After Christmas.

Went out for dinner with Chia Meng and Weidong. Nothing big, just Burger King. Chit Chat on random stuff. Caught Citizen Dog after that. Very Amelie, with saturated colours, whimsical stories and many effects. Nice though it reminded me of My Girl in some ways.

Day after Boxing Day.2 Days After Christmas.

Went to send Chia meng's laptop for servicing before heading to Ikea to get some cool shit (which is sold out). Headed back to sch to realize can't get to work cause they are upgrading the Final Cut Pro. Denny's job is so totally delayed. I'm so screwed. Kex pop by after jamming to go down to town together for movie with Mattina and Andy.

Across The Universe is so damn good. It was a nice interpretation of Beatles' songs with strong references to things happening during that period, like war, freedom, hippies and all. It was a little too long at certain parts and Prudence's story seems a little weak. All in all, it was a nice movie with strong visuals. Love it.

Headed down to east Coast for dinner/supper. So nice to just walk along the shoreline and chat. Too bad we had to leave so early. Bunked in with Chia meng since its too far for Andy to send me home. Thom called to say results are out. Well, wasn't too good which was kin of expected. GPA 3.9. BAD. [Note: as of now, I still haven seen my results with my own eyes]

Yesterday.3 Days After Christmas.

Slept in till mid-day before heading to PS to meet up with artistic director of Little Red Shop (whom I met when helping with Gabby's project 3Men3Women).I'm helping him to do a simple edit of some of his shows to put up on the Little Red Shop. He's also inviting me to help out on one of his upcoming shows which looks super duper exciting. Had a nice long chat on that span from art to theatre to acting to creativity to life to laptops. Felt so much like a young boy with so much to learn. A critic which will spur me to improve my works. So looking forward to work with them.

2 Buddy Meals Please

Today was a buddy's day out.

Woke up damn early in the morning (though I slept rather late last night) to meet my sec sch bud for a lesson on diamonds. Cut, Carats, Colour, Clarity, all add to the COST of the stone. Girls' best friend that was once a piece of coal. Well. In my opinion, Destinee from Lee Hwa in deed looks pretty but the sales person from Goldheart is the better one (Note: they are under the same umbrella company).

Drop by szeming's new place which is a stone's throw (literally) from Jurong West sports complex, which reminded me how long it has been since i went swimming.

Joined teacher for a hairdo make-over at szeming's cousin's salon. I like it there and now im an Ah Beng.

Alec had a journey to the west so we had a nice time exploring IMM. It reminded me of a x'mas shopping trip i had when i was 8 or 9 when i was led through the toys department of some departmental store. Today was almost the same. Helicopters. Bicycles. Rollerblades. Dvd players. Toys for the little boys in us basically. If only i can really have them for x'mas.

Had a great time chilling @ hanzi's new place in Yishun with my lovely friends yesterday too. I miss our times together in year one.

Trapped

Feeling trapped these few days. Too many things to express. I feel like I'm losing myself day by day.

Only half way through the week and I'm dying. How to survive till the end of the year?
