City For The Lost: Finally Over

Finally Over
As title says... General Elections is finally over. Hurray. For the past few days, everyone in the dept has been tied down by GE duties. To make it worst some big shot is visiting us, this will be the busiest period following Police Week. Anyway, nowadays, my estabe (duties) seem to have expanded to become SO PAD. Been helping other divs alot latel. Not that i mind. Ah Ong is a great friend.

TODAY (06052006) went shopping with Alec n Ning. Ivan put up out due to some shitwork from his boss so there goes KTV. So went to town to try and spend my 50 bucks Taka voucher. Wanted to get a Adidas Sweater but sold out and nothing else fancied me so we went off. Was in Puma store when we saw this COOL SWEATER, though im a Adidas fan, the sweater looks too cool to miss. So we went back to Taka to see if they carry it. In the end, they don't have but got a cardigant, vest thingy after SO LONG.

Proceed to Dinner, was deciding on where when finally settled with Big O at Wheelocks Place. The food was amazing (some seafood platter thingy for 2 and Pan Seared Sirloin Steak with My O My and pot of Rosehin tea for dessert) and good service to go with. Hahah it was kinda funny.

Service Incident #1
We were deciding what to eat when we saw the glass notice on some set. We were sitting behind it so we had to try and decipher the words backward. We were like almost done with the first few lines when the waiter came and say super politely, "That's for lunch (pointing at glass notice #1) and the special is sold out (pointing to glass notice #2)" So we were like, "Oh Okie Thanks" then after awhile he came and gave recommendations to us

Service Incident #2
During dessert, was pouring the tea when the teapot cover dropped. The waiter nearby was like [ " ]!!! and came to pick it up and all. Thing to note, we didnt show like annoyed faces when it happen. Merely shocked and laughed. So the waiter came, placed the lid back and subsequently poured tea for all of us. He even help us refilled with hot water after seeing that the pot is empty. He also explain why the lid fell, even though there's no need to, or so i thought.

Service Incident #3
When My O My (cheesecake wth chocolate ice cream and melted dark chocolate) was served, a small bug appeared, we were like shocked and subsequently amazed and fascinated. Was playing with it when dunno why we gave sort of big reaction. The waitress nearby was shocked by us and then by the bug which was evacuated with a towel.

The waiter and waitress were super friendly and super alert/jumpy which made dinner more fun. Definately going back again.

Then we went to clarke quay area to look for chill out spot. Dbl O was pack so on to Eski Bar which after finding it empty was skipped. End up at 7-11 with Super Slurpy and home ward bound. As discussed, Boat Quay is striked off chill out list.
