City For The Lost: Absolut Pissed

Absolut Pissed
Now in ORD mood but sadly still have work to clear before I can leave.

Recently been in a very foul mood. It started with my phone going crazy and refusing to start up. Was meeting Ivan and Lyn that day and it went crazy when I, for the sake of fun, changed it to chinese language. Had to drop it off at Nokia Care Centre for servicing. Update of software to be more precise which means i'll lose everything in the phone and most importantly, MY CONTACTS!!!

Well, to make me feel better, I went shopping therapy with Lyn and Ivan.

It got worst when they called the next day that it's ready for collection. I was prepared to go down after work to collect. But in the end i was caught up with work. Can't remember what but it ended rather late. (oh it's for some video shoot) Rushed down in a cab to Suntec to arrive 5 minutes after closing time. Was Damn Pissed. I was talking on the phone with Alec while trying to find a way to talk to someone but they all blatantly ignored me. I was cursing and swearing as i loiter outside the shop. Sulked all the way (and a very long way it was) back to City Hall MRT to go home. I must have dimmed the lights everywhere i went with my black face.

Friday, rushed to work for video shoot with CP. I was really happy to be touching video cam and doing production work again. WHooo Hooooo. Went up with Ma'am, Sharm, Zehai to CP's office. Rebecca seems rather nice. hahah. Wired up CP, set up cam and off we go. Was rather smooth i suppose. I commented on CP and stuff. HAhaha funny. All was done and went back to office and rush down to RJC for Police Week Appreciation Lunch. Nothing exciting except CP talked to me. Something like "Oh you are here too haha" kinda thing. I wanted to talk more with him but my video cam was fogging up and was trying to clear it. Dean and Halil coming to "SAY HI" was not helping either. Dean was talking really loudly "What u want to eat" when i signalled him that CP's around. HE like =P and walked away for awhile. Halil came and was like playing with the cam when i tried to signal him that CP's beside me. He was like [0.o]!! and walked away. Hahahah. Made my day. Everything was normal. Went back office to clear stuff when Harith (hereafter known as SA) had to do the CP video near going home time. Already picked out usable shots for him when I had to help him digitize too. Apparently his Final Cut Pro classes are not useful. Well, went about the way i remembered to digitize but it kept giving me problems. Some drop frame shit with the NTSC format. Ivan calling and bugging me about his boss' event the next day ain't helping either. Was so pisssed. Even called our vendor, tried another method. In the end, used the G5 and it worked. The powermac has some configuration problem. Damn it. Missed the timing to collect phone again.

SA was another factor that pisses me off non-stop. Let's skip all the earlier parts, for it's too long to mention. I dunno if he's young or just plain brainless and stupid.

Incident 1
Venue: Newton Circus Market, Supper after Gala Dinner

AD Planning treated everyone that was left (Planning mostly). Didn't know why he was there too. The noisy lead actress was blabbing away about PAD to which SA replied with things where are "like so not true'. Thank God Ah Ong was there, who agreed with my thinking. Then they started talking about Queenie and how nice her dresses were and stuff. TO which SA replied, "oh she got rich boyfriend to buy got her". I was like super stunned cause I know she buys them herself since I went shopping with her a couple of times. I couldn't stand his nonsense so I decided to speak up. Something like, "no la she buys them herself". What an arsehole.

Incident 2
Venue: Office, Him talking on the phone (real loudly)

Dunno who he is talking to and don't care but he seems to sprout nonsense from his mouth like the Merlion. He was saying how ma'am has bad memory and don't care about SAs and stuff WHICH IT TOTALLY NOT TRUE. He also complained about how AD gives him lots of last minute work, which me and kenji agreed is not hard to do since most of the amendments have been pointed out. The most irritating and imbecile part was when he commented on my NEW ma'am. He said stuff like how it should be someone else and she doesn't know about design and publications and stuff. Little did he know that she was previously a writer/reported from STREATS, the free paper. How can she not know about publications stuff. It simply proves that empty vassels makes the most noise.

Another empty vassel i wanna b**ch about is THE ONE. hahaa.. it's not hard to guess... Anyway, was suppose to be 2 photographer for Ivan's event. One at Sambawang with CP's golf while Ivan and me run with me between JOM and old PA. Luckily Badminton was still at PA and i'm quite familar with the players. Ex-DD was there. Games started and Ivan haven came. In the end he called to say that he's stuck at golf cause of his boss. I had to take a cab to JOM to cover Chess and soccer and bowling. Wat the Fuck is the point of getting two photographers down? Somemore, i'm there on a personal favour basis. What spurred the flame was when they arrived, THE ONE just strolled in with Ivan's boss with ABSOLUTELY NO camera in toll. He still got the cheek to say "OH you are here! hahah" WAH LAO. WHY THE FUCK AM I DOING HIS WORK FOR HIM? If it's not Ivan's event, I would have left. Then they left without a word. I was waiting for Ivan to pick me up, with half a mind to just go back office to drop off camera and go off, when he came down with Ivan. Apparently he's been going on errand runs with Ivan. Extra "Ge Zua" as usual. At SPOM, he had the nerve to say "I got to go for my course, hahah, Bye" Thanks Huh! Ivan's boss was not helping either.

Anyway, lucky Ivan is my friend and no matter how pissed i was, i couldn't bring myself to flare up at my friends, although i wanted to many a times. Just couldn't do it. I shall be totally mean in the next few weeks. Show everyone how incapable THE ONE is, blatantly if need be. *Evil GRIN*
