Close Encounter With the Idol Rejects

Not recently, PAD just finished its long spell of unforgving work. It was events after events for the whole of PAD. GE, Crown Prince, Police Day Parade, Police Annual Dinner and finally to top it off, Police Charity Gala Dinner.

What a wonderful way to bring a closure to my PAD stint with a PAD event. It was only a year ago, when I first joined PAD, that I covered the SPF Badn 80th anniversary, another PAD event of sort.

The Gala dinner was apparently to replace the Charity adventure where officers and extenal orginasations gather to do like an amazing race thingy in 24 hours. So for a change, it was dinner and dance for the less fortunate this year.

The musical was in collabration with Fly Entertainment, directed by Mark wate or whatever (the Moulmien High Ang moh) and starred Amy Cheung, Mai Lee and SPF officers, like Sameul (PAD) Noor (ex-PAD) Nelson (TP) to name a few. Inspired by Twelfth Night, its about twins who got seperated and the girl had to pretend as her brother to work for a mafia to woo this movie star ya da yada ya day. To cut the story short, it's not bad for a high school musical. Hahahah

Anyway, flops popped out throughout the night but there's nothing PADians cannot handle.

After the show, or rather when we are not workin, it was a mad house as the photo sluts and whores gathered together. Worst was after the musical when everyone (PADian that is) wanted to take photos with the S'pore Stars and after the whole event when everyone wanted to take photo with everyone.

Oh not to forget, we had the special appearance of Emil Chow. Hahah SO Cool. Had the chance to see him up close and persoanl thanks to ex-DD. Met Ex-DD's wife too. She looks extremely familar. I'm sure she's someone in Mediacorp or somewhere. I think I've seen her as one of the Judges for Star Idol. Anyway, didn't took any photo with Emil Chow which was funny considering how i took photos with the S'pore ones.

Anyway, the reason for the title is...... 4 out of the 10 cast took part in Singapore Idol before and guess what, all four didn't make it thus the title. (pointed out by Ah Ong) Muhahahaha that's so evil. To end this up, here a strip of that night.
