Days Of My Life

Yesterday was totally like a day time drama. Let's go back to the night before first, those who happen to be online at 3am would see me signing off and going to bed. (i.e Ning and Thom [yes his name has a "h" in it]) After around 75 winks, I heard someone calling me at my door. Shocked, i jump out of bed and realize it was my grandpa. I followed him to his room and saw my grandma sitting up. She was not feeling well and Grandpa wanted me to apply medical oil on her back. After dunno how long it wasn't getting better (she's feeling nauseous and giddy). Seeing that it's not better, decided to call a cab and send her to A&E. I had to wake my sis up to look after my grandpa when I send my grandma over.

On the way, tried to call my aunt but can't get her. Reaching A&E at around 7, it was not crowded at all but it cost $80 to see the doctor! well, sent her in and waited outside while the batt of my handphone keep dropping at an alarming rate. Had to get my sister to call my uncle and aunts but to no avail.

At around 8 plus, Doctor came put to question me abit. As I was out watching movie the night before, they were asleep when I was back. I tried to answer as best as I can. The doctor was using a tone like "why you bring her here?" but they keep her under observation still. A while later was allowed to see her in observation ward (around 8.30), the nurse said to keep her for 2 hours for observation. So i went out to sit around for a while.

While waiting, the Doctor walked by. I saw and did the "hi bye" smile then he stop and talk to me. Not bad considering he's going off shift. He said nothing much but might be some "unknown not-feeling-good thing with old people". I was like "OK"

So around 2 hours later (1030), I went in and nurse said that blood pressure (bp) was high so they had to keep her for another 2 hours but later did i realise it was HIGH (around 200). So i went for a quick breakfast. Did i mention i was in berms and tee i slept in the night before, hair undone and sleep-grit still in my eyes, carrying my grandma's handbag, walking around General Hospital.

Went back and waited around again. At around 1230, wanted to buy some food for grandma when doctor came. Said her bp dropped slightly but had to be warded to check the sourse of giddiness as she's still feeling it. So I went to do the admission papers thingy thing thing and waited for forever to get a bed. At the mean time, i think they wanted the patients to experience a white christmas they turn up the airconditioning so that it felt like winter. My grandma was feeling really cold so i had to run to 7-11 to buy socks for her. Then at around 3, some people upstairs decide that the bed is in tip-top condition to be slept on and let us have the bed.

We just got settled in when 2 doctors (female) came in and start questioning my grandma. It was funny how they speak to my grandma then start conversing with each other. It was just a funny sight beyond words, well to me at least. Then half-way through the consultation, my auntie came and FINALLY I'm not alone. So they settled everything and my brother came and i finally had a chance to go home to wash up and charge (both my handphone and me).

There's more to this but I'm still very tired still. Forced to grow up for the week. Damn.
