Books and Birthdays

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOKSACTUALLY!!!!"

Yesterday was book's birthday. What a great timing too. I just got the DVD of my short done up. Had a fun time doing up the DVD but ended up waiting for the others to finish theirs first.

Thank God we rushed down in cab or I would have TOTALLY missed Ami and Khai. Saw them leaving just as my cab arrived. Managed a hug from Ami before they head for a chill before going back to work. Went up to met our beloved bookkeepers who are all dressed up (in uniforms. Cool!). Wine and cakes for everyone. I'm sorry I couldn't buy any books due to the big hole in my pocket. I saw what might be the last copy of "Everything is Illuminated" penguin version being sold. Well, thanks for weidong for buying the books too.

Somehow, there are some auntie/taitai's there which don't seem to fit in. They were asking about the postcards. I would have been irritated if I was serving them. Did I mention the 3 girls in flashy outfit who were talking loudly about "aye valvet later la" Wow. Books is so cool its opening up its market.

End up at Maxwell for dinner since I haven ate much the whole day. Ami and Khai went back to work already by the time I'm done.

Though only saw Ami and Khai for a glance and brief talk with Karen and Kenny, it made my days so much brighter.

Had a nice chat with fav junior Des while waiting in Film Lab. So nice to hear from them again.

Now I just need to meet up with my OCT bros soon.
