Loose Ends

Polaroid films have increased their prices. From $34 to $40 for a twin pack. Each piece of polaroid has gone from $1.70 to $2. Books Actually will be moving out from their cosy little white room soon. It seems the little things I love in life is slowly disappearing. Will my life slowly degenerate into non-existence?

I'm currently reading The Secret History, for the third time. It is most probably the book I've read for the most time. It seems to have a strange connection with me. I find myself being drawn deep into Hampden. I understand Richard's lies. I feel Camilia's pain when she cut her feet by the river. I feel Robert's cold that first winter in Hampden. I wish I could truly feel the love they had for each other. The summer house, the dinners, the walks and the parties. Only in the book can I find what I've been looking for. The strange connection and acceptance. Perhaps the magnitude of that kind of life could only be lived through the pages of their lives.
